June 4, 2019, Accra-Ghana: H. E. Dr Erieka Bennett paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Barbara Gyasi in her office, at the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. There were other ambassadors present also.
The Diaspora African Forum is poised to cover a lot of ground in relation to this year’s Year of Return, as declared by H. E. Nana Akufo Addo.
The meeting was a great avenue to interact with Hon. Barbara Gyasi, and to showcase DAF’s willingness to raise the morale of African Diasporas to look back to the continent of Africa for developmental purposes and reconnection of their roots.

This is your brother forever emailing you and we want to thank you for having us during our return home to Accra, Ghana, West Africa the year of return for the descendants of Africans who were enslaved in the America’s. I spoke to Dr. Paul Hopkins today and he will be reaching out to you to connect. One fo the things I failed to tell you about him was that his father was a former Negro Baseball player. His father played with Jackie Robinson, and he is in the MLB National Hall of Fame, under the Living Legends of Baseball. Dr. Paul travels 4 times a year with the baseball players still living and is well known amongst them. we were talking about how can people help with your legacy by securing this great Embassy as an institution. My 1st cousin Coach George Edwards Jr., is the Defensive Coordinator of the NFL Minnesota Vikings. He is in his 5th season with them and his 21st season in the NFL. I plan to reach out to him to see how the NFL black players can connect with DAF. I love you in Christ and look forward to speaking with you soon.
