The Diaspora Africa Forum has partnered with New York based Gradian Health Systems to donate critical equipment to Ghana’s Ministry of Health to support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation comprised 300 airway kits, which are critical equipment in keeping COVID-19 patients alive. Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennett, head of Diaspora Africa Forum thanked Gradian Health System and CEO Lina Sayed for supporting Ghana’s pandemic program.

“We need all hands on deck at a time like this, and the historical diaspora is always ready to do its part,” Dr. Bennet said. In her speech, which was carried live at the event via Zoom, Gradian Health Systems’ Lina Sayed said her company’s experience on the continent places it in a position to play role in the fight against the pandemic.
