17th July 2019. Accra – Ghana: The Diaspora African Forum (DAF) held a Ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the launch of the Diaspora Village – Legacy project in collaboration with Trasacco Group; Ghana’s premier developer and Sheerah Homes Inc.


The event took place at the site, Trasacco Springs Estate at Community 23, Tema off the Motorway. The event was hosted by Founder and Head of Mission, Diaspora African Forum (DAF), H. E. Dr Erieka Bennett and Ms Beverly Williams, developer, Sheerah Homes Inc. In attendance also were: Mr. Akwasi Awua Ababio; Director, Diaspora Affairs at the Presidency, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman; C.E.O, Ghana Tourism Authority, Ms. Annabelle McKenzie; Manager, Year of Return Secretariat, Board Members of Diaspora African Forum, Ms. Natalie Omanye; Trasacco Group, and many others who expressed confidence in the project and also shared their goodwill messages.


Dr Erieka Bennett expressed that, the Diaspora African Forum was at a standpoint of serviceability, and was committed to ensuring that, Diasporans that visit Ghana, truly find a home for themselves and their families. The Ambassador also expressed her sincere appreciation for the solidarity of all gathered and declared that the Media launch was really the beginning for greater things to happen.


The Media Launch was the first phase, of the three stages outlined with regard to the Diaspora Village project. This will be followed by a groundbreaking event and a grand opening ceremony.
