DONATION OF A STATE OF THE ART HIGH CAPACITY HIGH FLOW OXYGENATOR TO THE INTERNATIONAL MARITIME HOSPITAL
20/05/2021: Accra-Ghana: The Diaspora African Forum – DAF(the first and only diplomatic mission in the world dealing with Diaspora issues)in partnership with Dr. Cuthbert Simpkins, the brother of Ms Glenda Simpkins and his wife, Diane Phipps-Simpkins will donate a State of the Art High Capacity High Flow Oxygenator to the International Maritime Hospital. This donation will be made to show their immense gratitude to the hospital for the care and support rendered to save the life of Ms Simpkins.
H. E. Dr. Erieka Bennett, Founder and Head of Mission of DAF will officially handover the oxygenator to the hospital in the company of Dr. Ryan Azcueta of AMI, Abdul Latif Bennett; Counsel for DAF, Dr. DaCosta Aboagye; the Director of Health Promotion at the Ghana Health Service, Dr Juliet Tuakli; CEO/Chief Medical Officer CHILDAccra, Ms Brenda Joyce; CEO of Allied Mining Ghana Ltd and Dr. Nadia Musah; Deputy Director – Diaspora Office of the President.
We believe that this will help reduce the burden that Covid-19 has placed on Ghana’s Health Sector. Therefore, we invite the press to cover a good news story.
