On December 23rd, 2023, the Staff of the Diaspora African Forum (DAF) visited the Kumasi Children’s home to celebrate Dr. Bennett’s day with them.
Dr. Bennett’s day is an annual event, celebrated on every 23rd December, where Dr. Bennett together with DAF Staff visit the Kumasi Children’s home to organize a party and celebrate the festive season with 90+ children at the home.
Aside the celebration, we also donate food items, educational materials, cash, toys and many more to the Staff and kids at the home as our act of kindness, to put smiles on the faces of these little ones and their guardians.
December 2022 marked 15 years since the commencement of this celebration and it has been successfully celebrated each year.
