The Diaspora African Forum (DAF) welcomes a number of African-American celebrities to Ghana for the Full Circle Festival in commemorating “The Year of Return” Programme

Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennet, the Head of Mission of the Diaspora African Forum, today welcomed a host of African-American celebrities including Hollywood actors Boris Kodjoe, Nichole Ari Parker, Michael Jai White, Anthony Anderson, and Rosario Dawson at the W.E.B. Dubois Center in Accra, Ghana. Others included American model, reality television star and actress Cynthia Bailey, Fox Sports host, Mike Hill, radio host Ebro Darden, Real Estates Mogul Jay Morrison, international marketing genius, Bozoma Saint John and a host of other celebrities.
Their visit is part of a week-long festival to commemorate the Year of Return programme initiated by Ghana to mark 400 years of the trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. Hosted by Hollywood actor Boris Kodjoe and Bozoma Saint John, the Full Circle Festival was established to honor Ghana’s ancestry by celebrating its heritage and generational legacy and was chaired by the office of His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana and presented by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the Ministry of Business Development and the Office of Diaspora Affairs.
Also present at the DAF to welcome the star-studded guests were Board Members of DAF, Rabbi Kohain -Executive Director of the PANAFEST Foundation, HRH Dr. Chief Crystal-Djirackor of the Crystal TV Network Group.
