The Diaspora African Forum (DAF) in collaboration with Kings Innovations Group hosted the Founder and
Chairman of Africa Union Holdings, Mr Ndambo in Ghana from December 16 to 18, 2022 to launch the ‘’My
Hometown Project’’.
The Founder and Chairman of Africa Union Holdings, Mr James Ndambo arrived in Ghana with a 37-member
delegation from South Africa on December 16, 2022 to officially launch “MY HOMETOWN GHANA”
project.
“My Hometown project” (www.myhometownzambia.org) is one of the commendable initiatives by Mr.
Ndambo which has been set up in several countries with its headquarters in Zambia. The aim of this project is to
gather like-minded individuals and community members, all with the common goal of uplifting and bettering
their respective communities in various sectors.
To mark the launch of this life transforming initiative in Ghana, there was a welcome reception at Dr. Chief
Crystal-Djirackor’s house on December 16, 2022. There was a grand durbar at Bechem on December 17, 2022
with over thousands of the community folks gathered for the celebration. The durbar had the presence of
prominent Traditional Leaders of the Bechem community, Founder of African Union Holdings, Mr James
Ndambo, Founder and Head of Mission for DAF, H.E Dr. Erieka Bennett, Co-founder of DAF, Dr. Toni Luck,
Chairman of Kings Innovations Group, Mr. Kingsley Owusu Achau, the CEO and President of Crystal TV, Dr.
Chief Crystal-Djirackor, Nollywood actress Chika Ike and some beauty Queens from the Miss My Home Town
Zambia pageant.
In a speech by Mr James Ndambo on plans for the aforementioned initiative in Ghana, he promised to give a
full scholarship to ten (10) brilliant students from the Bechem community next year.
He further stated that he would be running a beauty pageant of Miss My Home Town Ghana.
Mr Ndambo’s visit to Ghana was climaxed with a major Press Conference at the Kempinski Hotel on December
18, 2022.
