The Municipal Chief Executive and Mayor of the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly, Hon. Solomon Kotey Nikoi and his delegation have paid a courtesy visit to the Founder and Head of Mission, DAF, H.E. Ambassador Erieka Bennett.

The visit was to extend LaDMA’s profound gratitude for the partnership, cooperation, and kind invitation to join the ambassador in Washington, DC, for the President Joseph Biden Lifetime Achievement awards she received last year.

The meeting discussed the embassy’s mutually beneficial relationship with DAF and LaDMA and was aimed at improving development in the fields of business investment, culture, diplomacy, education (scholarships & ICT), health, and security.

The officials who were present at the meeting were Hon. Solomon Kotey Nikoi; Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Nyarko Baah; Presiding Member, La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly, Hon. Mahamad Bashiru; Honorable Assembly Member for Cantonments Electoral Area, Henry Asomah, Deputy Director.

To climax the meeting, Hon. Solomon Kotey Nikoi, Municipal Chief Executive of LaDMA congratulated H.E. Erieka Bennett for her positive impact on the community over the years.
‘’I would like to say Ayekoo!! “For the good work done in the community,” he said.
The La Dade Kotopon Municipal Assembly is anticipating a strong bond for future initiatives with DAF in the municipality.

La Dade Kotopon Municipal District is one of the twenty-nine districts in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Originally, it was formerly part of the then-larger Accra Metropolitan District in 1988 (later as a sub-metropolitan district council in 2003) until the eastern portion of the district was split off to create La Dade Kotopon Municipal District on June 28, 2012; thus, the remaining part has been retained as Accra Metropolitan District. The municipality is located in the central part of the Greater Accra Region and has La as its capital town
